Announcements:

Mathematics preparation for the course:
• Students are strongly encouraged to learn the mathematical techniques presented in Mathematical Appendix of the textbook, sections M.A - M.D and M.J - M.L, before the course begins.
• Being familiar with materials Sections M.F, M.G., M.H., and M.I would be helpful, though not strictly necessary.
• Students wanting a more gentler presentation can refer to the relevant sections of Fundamental Methods of Mathematics by Chiang and Wainwright.
• A more thorough treatment are given in Mathematics for Economists by Simon and Blume.
